Mirtha Michelle Joins us in The Talent Spotlight

Born in the Dominican Republic, Mirtha Michelle Castro Mármol is a talented actress and poet. At the age of five, Mirtha and her family moved to Miami, Florida.  At the young age of 16, she was cast in "By Kids for Kids", a show on WPLG the ABC affiliate in Miami. 

Poetry is one of Mirtha's passions. At the age of six she wrote her first poem and has continued to express herself through the art form.  You can find her debut as an author “Letters, To The Men I Have Loved” on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles.

Mirtha's film and television credits include Fast & FuriousSeñorita JusticeThis Christmas , CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami.

FF: At the movie theater concessions stand; Which do you choose? Soda, popcorn or candy?
MM: Neither. I usually only have water or a strawberry ICE-E

FF: Movie rental kiosk. Which category do you select first: new release, action, horror, comedy or documentary?
MM: Usually depends who I'm watching the movie with but usually it's a New Release or a Drama.

FF: What are you top 5 favorite films?
MM: Dirty Dancing, Cinema Paradiso, Cabaret, The Little Mermaid, The Bicycle Thief. 

FF: An actor or director whom you haven't worked with yet, but would like to on a future project.
MM: Al Pacino. His body of work is insane, and his talent is unmatched. It's all in his eyes.

FF: Where did you grow up and when was the last time you visited?
MM: I grew up in Miami, Florida and I visit often. My parents and sibling still reside there. Last time I visited was this past January.
