The Cornwall Horror Film Festival
The Cornwall Horror Film Festival celebrates its genre through Independent films
The second annual event has invited participants throughout the globe. The fan base of the independent horror genre continues to grow larger with each year. The festival is looking for short film submissions, especially 3D shorts.
With the success of the first year, founders and filmmakers themselves, Geoff Robe and Tony Railton are excited to host this year's event, Railton states, "There was nothing in Cornwall that represented what we enjoyed in horror cinema, it all felt too...safe, we knew there were some great, no-holds-barred horror shorts out there and we wanted to bring the best down to Cornwall and give people a real Halloween thrill,"
Railton and Robe have themselves entered work into various film festivals and with the extensive traveling, the idea for the Cornwall Horror Fest was formed. "We entered films into festivals around the UK and traveled miles to attend, and wondered why there were no horror specific festivals down here in the South West.. We wanted to change that," explains Robe.
